Hareta's family travel around the world so it's no surprising that he loves to go see the world and budgets his travel costs like a boss. He's easily sympathetic towards other mons and would often take care of them no matter the risks. If there are any risks. Resourceful and creative, the boy loves to make things especially if it's food-related. He would often sketch out a design for a simple maki roll and put it into action immediately. And lastly, his forever positive attitude would bring smiles on everybody's face.

Hareta's mind is rather strange to other people. He would easily stare off into an empty white wall, thinking about something until someone snaps his/her fingers or yell at him. Most of the time, he usually daydreams over many things. Heaven knows what it is. He also has the tendency to scream high pitched when someone even tries to poke or brush his ears. Or his feelers. They're very sensitive and even the slightest sound could set him off into high pitched screeching. He might take even the harshest critiques but he can't give off one measly critique that describes both positive and negative. He only focuses the good things.

Hareta may look like he's some graceful chef who could pull off a perfect dish in just one try but he's the opposite of that. He would easily freak out over one mistake, eats it up, and tries again. At least he eats it instead of throwing it in the garbage. Now that's wasting food right there. He usually leaves things and forgets it after what it seemed to be like five minutes. Or seconds. Either way, you might need to remind him several times just to get it straight to his head. Now, when it comes to certain things like sarcasm, he couldn't really understand that. And he would take things a little too literal at times.

 

 History:

Ages 1-3

Ah SunnyShore City, famous for it's Munchlax-shaped Pokemon Rock and the city's market! And how lucky you are to be born around this city! That's Hareta! Born to a Sylveon father and an Audino mother, both we're professional chefs and locally famous. However despite all that, they were very modest about it. And it shows. The way they dress, the way they eat, the way with--. . . You get it! And Hareta took an early interest for cooking due to his parents' professions. He was rather proud of it and proudly declared he would be just like them when he grows up!

Ages 4-14

School wasn't so bad considering the fact that he was sociable enough to have friends. And this was also the time he starts practicing his cooking abilities. Or so he thought. Practice after practice, the boy can't even make one delicious meal! It ends up being burned or with the wrong taste. But he didn't stop. He couldn't just give up now! Eventually, he was starting to become a little decent with it. He would always bring over his homemade food to school and asked his friends for a sample taste. Some are delish! And some were just. . . Blech! But he kept practicing anyway. But at the same time, he was multitasking with his studies on his other hand. Things were pretty easy back then. But it was way different in high school.

Ages 15-18

Yes indeed, high school was so much different from grade school. Sure, you might gain even more friends at the process. But there was stress and pressure from other students and teachers. And there was even the time where he questioned his sexuality. And of course, the occasional bullying by the high school bullies in his school due to his feminine appearance as well as his love for cooking. But that didn't stop him from achieving his goals and dreams. But there was just one problem. . . 

His academic skills

Throughout his entire high school years, he tried perfecting his cooking skills. To the point where he pulls over an all-nighter just to perfect one single recipe. This bothered his parents since he wasn't focusing in his studies too well. His grades started to roll downhill, barely getting even a C on almost every subject. Hareta didn't realize this up until he got called to the principal's office regarding about it. He had a long talk with his parents regarding with his actions and such and until he improves his grades, he might as well be expelled from the school campus. 

And so from that time on, Hareta pushed aside his cooking practices and start focusing more with his studies. Eventually he was able to catch on with his grades, getting around Bs and Cs at the process. That was good enough for his parents and the school staff. And by the end of his high school, he was able to graduate. Not with honors but at least he finished school. Now to move on to the next big thing: College!

Ages 19-23

With the encouragement and support of his parents, and the constant practices he did with his siblings, he was able to enroll in a culinary school. Throughout his first few weeks in school, he tried adjusting with his new environment. I mean, it was a rookie chef's paradise! Complete set of kitchen utensils, condiments, vegetables, spices, etc. It was heaven for the Audino! ~ But then there was the extremely brash professors who would do anything to train each and every culinary student and molding them into the perfect chefs they wanted to see.


However, Hareta was not even close to being a perfect chef throughout his first two years. He was always heavily critique about his dishes for assignments. But he wasn't about to give up! He practiced and practiced. Until such time, he was able to impress the professors with his creative and delicious delicacy. But he had a long way to go before he could finish school. Again.

Ages 24-Present

Four years passed after his college graduation, he could finally live out his dream with freedom! And his dream was to work alongside his parents. And there at that moment, he noticed there were so many chefs in the Sinnoh Region especially with those Poffin Chefs. That's when he decided to travel across each region to look for a new start as a man. Of course, he had to ask permission from his parents which they agreed. And so, he was sent off to find a new place for himself. For months, he went from region to region, looking for a job and a place to stay. All were great but it's just doesn't scream home sweet home. 

Now, he heard a strange little town that was open to residents. Hmm hmm, perhaps this might be his big break, yes yes? ~

- He speaks rather fluently in English and Japanese. However, that doesn't mean his accent wouldn't slip out of his mouth.

- A terrible liar. He would often stutter if he fabricates the truth. And it usually ends up with him telling the truth loud and clear.

- He has a Audinite hidden around his backpack. However, it was remained unused ever since he first got it. After all, it's not like he'll be needing that in his career.

- Speaking of his backpack, nobody really knows what's in that bag. Some say they're filled with food and cooking books. Which is understandable. Others had a darker explanation for the bag's contents.

- His knowledge not only extends to food and taste but also the world cultures. Although most of the time, you'll end up getting the answer "Ahaha sorry, I kinda forgot half of it. I'll try to refresh my brain, cheri ~?.

- Surprisingly, he had past relationships. Two of em! One was a female Cinccino and a male Roserade. This is the only thing he isn't so enthusiastic to talk about.
