Despite being knowledgeable for her young and tender age, she was brought by a normal family in Canalave City in the Sinnoh Region with normal lives and without a hint of scientific intelligence. Although, the only relative that has the same quality was her grandmother in the mother's side. As a child, she was often sent in the care of her grandmother since her parents were busy with their jobs. Now, at that time, she was surrounded heavily with books regarding on the Pokemon anatomy, the biological states, etc. Of course, the little Gothita was deeply enthusiastic about it. All of them! She would go around in the house backyard to look for small feral bug Pokemon to bring back inside the house and poke it around and perhaps, dissect it just for fun. She was home-schooled for five years as her grandmother, a self-proclaimed professor in the University Of Sinnoh, says that she will teach the little girl all about the wonderful world of science.
When she turned nine, her parents quickly took action of what was her grandmother exposing to and enrolled her into a private school not only to excell other subjects but to make some friends who might or might not have the same interests as hers. Geneviv eventually excelled most of the school subjects from mathematics to music. Yep, she had made it into the honor rolls. But what was the problem? What could be the problem of such a sweet and innocent girl? Well, lets just remove the innocent part and replace it with the word overly weird little girl. She had these strange ways of socializing with others such as her compulsive stalking and her habit of intellectually insulting another student without any second thought about it. This was also the start of her school life being bullied by a few students but that didn't seem to bother her as she was too cooped up with different lab feral Pokemon to experiment.
Now with this part of her school life explained, her parents got worried about her. They would often ask themselves why is their daughter acting this way? What was so interesting about science? During the summer, they have been thinking about transferring her to another school and that folks, was the Armonia Institute! How did they found out about the school? Well, it all started when a group of the Armonia Alumnis came by to Geneviv's school during an exciting occasion called School Search Day. Although it wasn't technically a university or community college, the Navenson Couple were interested of this institute. So after they explained it to Geneviv about the idea of e rolling in the Armonia Institute, she seemed to liked the idea. Oh, how she would like that very much! All the wonderful people she'll meet! All the things she could show them! Wait! What was a dissecting knife you just saw?! Oh no! Hope she doesn't get to scoop a sample of your organs!

Hunting down for bug Pokemon - Sheesh! For a girl, she seemed to have taken a huge interest in bug Pokemon, whether. And would take it home and poke it around with her poking stick. Or perhaps, cut it open to see what the heck was inside the poor bug. And she would happily show it off to her friends saying she has successfully found an organ she was looking for.
Listening to Neil Diamond's songs - Yup, you would have never guessed but she is a huge fan of Neil Diamond. Heck, her most favorite song that he composed is America. She would listen to it for hours! And hours! And she wouldn't give a damn if someone hates the old man for as long as she remains a fan of him and continue on with loving him.... Err... I mean, his songs!
Experimenting Bug Pokemon - This is probably the main hobby she does. Every single day, you would see her inside the science laboratory poking around some dead bug or a small feral Pokemon. If you are most likely a bug Pokemon, just back away slowly and... RUN!

She would drag around her opponent using her mind. It could be anything such as slamming oneself onto the wall. But it would only last for a few minutes since her telekinesis powers aren't that strong enough to last up until the end of the battle. It would be a bigger advantage if she got the opponent in a confused status since she can finally hit you without you noticing it.
Future Sight - A hunk of psychic energy attacks the target 2 turns after this move is used.
A dark aura surrounds her and suddenly disappears after a few seconds. Nothing happened! But after for a little while, the opponent suddenly gets hit without any warning sign! Where did that come from? Oh right! It came from Geneviv! So obvious!
Return - A full-power attack that grows more powerful the more the user likes its Trainer.
